Tourist Visa
A Tourist Visa allows the citizens of these countries to visit Pakistan for tourism purposes.
Application Type
You can apply for two types of visas online :
First Time (New) : You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.
Extension: You can apply for a visa extension if you possess a valid Pakistan visa and you are residing in Pakistan.
Eligibility
- Citizens of the countries listed here are eligible to apply for this visa.

Duration and Validity
- Single Entry for a short duration of less than 3 months (First Time entry).
- Duration up to and greater than 6 months (Extension).
- Citizens from these countries may be eligible for a Double Entry Tourist Visa.
- A Tourist Visa can be extended for up to 6 months or more, subject to approval.
In case of extension, please make sure that you have a valid Pakistani Visa and are residing in Pakistan as well.
Processing Time
Issuance of a Visa is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan.
- Entry (Up to 3 Months): 7-10 days (Working Days)
- The extension (Up to 6 Months): 7-10 days (Working Days)
- The extension (Greater than 6 Months): 4 Weeks (Working days)
Please Note: : If the application is Sent Back for Review to the Applicant, the set processing time will be applicable again (The processing time will re-start from the date of re-submission of application)
Business Visa
To promote investment in the country, the Government of Pakistan is granting 5-year Multiple Entry Business Visas to the businessmen of the countries listed under the following categories:
Application Type
First Time (New) : You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.
Extension: You can apply for a visa extension if you possess a valid Pakistan visa and you are residing in Pakistan
Required Documents
- Photograph
- Passport
- Proof of registration of company which is extending invitation (SECP/ Chamber of Commerce Certificate)
- Any of the following:
- Recommendation letter from CC&I of a respective foreign country
- Invitation letter from business organization duly recommended by concerned trade organization in Pakistan
- Recommendation letter by the honorary investment counselor of BOI/Commercial Attaché
Duration and Validity
- A Business Visa may be granted for up to 5 years.
- A Business Visa is valid for Multiple Entries in to Pakistan
Processing Time
Issuance of Visa is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan.
- Entry for Business Visa List countries: 24 Hours (Working Hours)
- Entry for Non-Business Visa List countries: 4 Weeks (Working days)
- Extension: 4 Weeks (Working days)
