Visa-free arrival to Qatar

Exploring Qatar’s culture and attractions has never been easier.

Nationals from a total of 80 countries* can now take advantage of visa-free entry into Qatar, thanks to our new visa waiver upon arrival.

Invite your friends and family to discover an authentic Arabian treasure in the heart of the Gulf – a land famous for its heritage, innovation, and hospitality now with the added benefit of a visa-free entry.

Citizens of these countries will not need to apply or pay for a visa; instead, a multi-entry waiver will be issued at the airport, upon presentation of a valid passport (valid for a minimum of six months) and a confirmed onward or return ticket.

Visa-free arrival for other nationalities

Visa-free arrival for Indian nationals

Citizens of India can be granted a visa waiver for a period of 30 days on their arrival in the State of Qatar, given the following conditions:

  • The passenger’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

Visa-free arrival for Pakistani nationals

Citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan can be granted a visa waiver for a period of 30 days on their arrival in the State of Qatar, given the following conditions:

  • The passenger’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

  • The passenger must have a confirmed return ticket.

  • The passenger must have a valid debit or credit card. (For a family travelling together, the card must be in the name of the passenger or one per family).

  • The visa will be granted for 30 days free of charge and is not extendable.

  • Passengers should provide a confirmed hotel reservation.

  • Passengers arriving directly from Pakistan should have a certificate of vaccination against polio.

Visa-free arrival for Rwandan nationals

Citizens of Rwanda can be granted a visa waiver for a period of 30 days on their arrival in the State of Qatar, given the following conditions:

  • The passenger’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

  • The passenger must have a confirmed return ticket.

  • Passengers should provide a confirmed hotel reservation.

Visa on arrival for nationals of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

Nationals of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus can be granted a visa on their arrival into the State of Qatar on the condition that they are arriving on a Qatar Airways flight with a minimum passport validity of 6 months and a confirmed onward or return ticket.
